Real car owner's perspective: 2026 Hai Seal 07DM-i

From the perspective of a real owner, I’ll share my experience with the 2026 Haima 07 DM-i:

I. Appearance: A Balance of Elegance and Sportiness

Upon arrival, I was struck by its aesthetics—the creamy white paint feels premium, the coupe-like sloping roof lines flow smoothly, and the through-type headlights, when illuminated, are instantly recognizable. It turns heads on the road, just like a luxury car. Details like hidden door handles and low-drag wheels add to its refined and practical appearance.

II. Driving: Smooth and Powerful

As a DM-i model, its hybrid system is perfectly suited for everyday commuting:

– Urban commuting: Pure electric mode is quiet and smooth, with motor torque available as soon as you step on the pedal, allowing for seamless following in congested traffic. When the battery is low, the engine’s intervention is almost imperceptible, and fuel consumption remains stable at around 4L, half the fuel consumption of comparable gasoline-powered vehicles. – Highway/Overtaking: Deeply pressing the accelerator, you can feel the hybrid system’s synergistic power. Power reserves are ample, and even at 120 km/h, the car remains stable, with comfortable roll control in corners.

III. Interior: A Blend of Technology and Comfort

The cabin perfectly suits my taste:

– Design: The floating dual-screen display and rotating central control panel exude a sense of technology. The system is as smooth as a smartphone, and voice control covers most controls, including the air conditioning and navigation.

– Experience: The perforated leather seats offer excellent support and comfort, ensuring a comfortable ride on long journeys. The rear seat is spacious, with plenty of legroom for even a 180cm tall person. The panoramic sunroof provides excellent airflow.

IV. Range: Say Goodbye to “Range Anxiety”

The all-electric range is 120km (NEDC), enough for daily commuting with one charge per week. The combined range on a full tank and full battery is over 1,200km, making frequent refueling unnecessary for weekend cross-provincial self-drives. The dual refueling and charging system is incredibly worry-free.

Summary

The 2026 Haima 07 DM-i is an all-rounder—it’s attractive, easy to drive, fuel-efficient, and spacious. It’s a perfect fit for both daily commuting and family travel. I’ve been driving it for three months, and my only regret is not buying it sooner!
